Alicia Villarreal whose birth name is Martha Alicia Villarreal Esparza, was born on August 31, 1974, in Monterrey, Mexico, and is a Mexican singer. Alicia Villarreal performed for the highly televised Selena Vive, where she performed Si Una Vez. She later released this song along with 2 other new songs Punalada Trapera and Ya No Hay Amor on a dual disc of the album Cuando El Corazón Se Cruza. The dual disc also contained 5 remixes to her previous songs and a collection of all her music videos. The dual disc was released in Mexico in 2005. There is still no release date set for United States. She has also released a fragrance in Mexico.

Ximena Sariñana, whose real name is Ximena Sariñana Rivera was born on October 29, 1985 and is a famous Mexican singer and actress. Ximena is the daughter of Fernando Sariñana and screenwriter Carolina Rivera, niece of famous Mexican actress Angélica Rivera and producer José Alberto Castro, brother of Verónica Castro.

Maria de luz Flores was born on May 23, 1906 and passed away on June 25, 1944. She is better known as Lucha Reyes, and was a famous Mexican mariachi singer. She was a native of Guadalajara, Jalisco. She used the last name Reyes as a homage to her stepfather.

Banda Sinaloense el Recodo de Don Cruz Lizárraga, often referred to as Banda el Recodo or simply La Banda Sinaloense (in Spanish, the Sinaloan Band) is one of the best-known Mexican groups. Since its founding in 1938, it has been under the direction of the Lizárraga family.

Zurdok was a Mexican rock band based in Monterrey that was formed in 1993 under the name Zurdok Movimento, which later changed to just Zurdok. Zurdok was one of the most important bands in the Mexican rock band scene at then end of the 1990s and early 2000s.

Plastilina Mosh is a Mexican alternative rock group from Monterey, Mexico. Formed in 1996 by Alejandro Rosso and Juan Jose Gonzalez, they have released three studio records, where they mix music styles like rap, dance and rock while switching between English and Spanish and several other languages in the same song.

Café Tacvba is a Grammy award and Latin Grammy award winning musical group from Naucalpan, Mexico. Founded in 1989, the band has had the same musical lineup since then. Members of the band are:
