Ana Gabriel is a Mexican singer and composer. She was born on December 10, 1955 as María Guadalupe Araújo Yong in Santiago de Comanito, Sinaloa. She first sang on stage at the age of 6, and recorded her first song in 1997. In her career, she sang in different genres, namely Spanish rock, Latin pop, and rancheras. She also received the Lo Nuestro award’s Premio a la Excelencia.

At only 21 years old Yuridia has already become one of the top selling artists in Mexico. In 2007 she won the Latin Billboard award for best female pop album. OV7 - No Me Voy

OV7 was a Latin Pop group from Mexico that lasted 14 years and had several hits in the Latin American charts. The group consisted of M’Balia Marichal, born in Mexico City; Ari Borovoy, born in Mexico City; Mariana Ochoa, born in Mexico City; Lidia Avila, born in Empalme, Sonora, Puebla; Kalimba Marichal, born in Mexico City (he is the younger brother of bandmember M’Balia); Erika Zaba, born in Mexico City, and Oscar Schwebel, born in Ixtapan de la Sal, Edo. de México. The group had several other members that lasted less than 1 album with the group.

Alejandra Guzman - Mala Hierba

Alejandra Gabriela Guzmán Pinal, born February 9, 1968 in Mexico City and is better known as Alejandra Guzmán, is a Latin Grammy Award–winning Mexican rock singer and actress. She has had a dedicated fanbase throughout Latin America since the late 1980s, and is known as the Queen of Rock in the Hispanic world.

Pablo Portillo - Alguien Como Tu

Pablo Portillo is a famous Mexican singer and actor who was born on April 8, 1979. Portillo was a member of Mexican group Liberacion and later became known internationally as a member of MDO. With MDO, he toured across Latin America, the United States, and Mexico, and was considered a teen idol at the time. Portillo’s time in MDO the group achieved their most successful phase.

Yuri - Esperanzas

Yuri is a famous Mexican singer, actress, and TV host. Yuri was born Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco in Veracruz, Mexico on January 6, 1964. Until May 2007, Yuri was the host of Objetivo Fama a talent show produced by Univision/Telefutura that is broadcasted to the United States and Puerto Rico. Univision fired Yuri as the host of the show for unknown reasons, but the show is currently being pointed as a fraud. Yuri is presently the host of the Televisa series Noche de estrellas.

Brujeria - La Ley De Plomo

Brujeria is a Mexican rock/death metal band whose name comes from a Spanish word meaning witchcraft. Their Satanic, narcotic, and masked attitude have been their green-card to success, although they have recently performed live at locations across the United States and Latin America. The have been nominated at the Latin Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album in 2000.

Rolando Villazón - Júrame

Emilio Rolando Villazón Mauleón was born on February 22, 1972, in Mexico City and is a Mexican tenor. He is currently in international demand as an opera singer, and also maintains an active recording career. He has recorded four solo CDs with Virgin Classics and is additionally featured, along with Patrizia Ciofi and Topi Lehtipuu, on the CD recording of Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda by Claudio Monteverdi, conducted by Emmanuelle Haïm.

For the rest of the 2007 season Mr Villazón has cancelled all his performances, including his debut recital at the Carnegie Hall and Roméo et Juliette at the Metropolitan Opera, due to health problems.

Paquita La Del Barrio - Pierdeme El Respeto

Paquita la del Barrio is the stage name of Francisca Viveros Barradas, a Mexican singer of rancheras and other Mexican styles. She was born in Alto Lucero, Veracruz in 1947 and started her career in Ciudad de México in 1970. In her songs she takes a stance against Mexico’s sexist male culture, which has made her popular especially with female audiences.
